For any business whose workers wear respirators, OSHA requires the employer to develop and implement a written respiratory protection program with worksite-specific procedures and elements for respirator use. This course is a “Train the Trainer” series for becoming a suitably trained respiratory program administrator (for dental mercury), and how to conduct yearly fit testing, respirator training and re-evaluation of a respiratory protection program. Additionally, this course includes many other OSHA standards that protect employees from hazardous mercury exposures. . IABDM members get $250 off the $1,250 course (you pay $1,000). Additionally, If you are an IABDM member, you can earns 25 CE hours on successful completion.

This certification contains everything a dental practice owner needs to fulfill OSHA’s respiratory protection program. OSHA requires the employer to develop and implement a written respiratory protection program with worksite-specific procedures and elements for respirator use including medical evaluations for all staff members wearing respirators. This course is a "Train the Trainer" series that allows employees to become a suitably trained respiratory program administrator as required by OSHA. Additionally, this course will enable your certified employee(s) to conduct the yearly fit testing and re-evaluation of your respiratory protection program.
