Respirator Storage Bag with 10 Inspection Records for Half Mask Respirator

Give each half-mask respirator a clean place to stay between procedures. This zippered storage bag is made for an elastomeric half-mask respirator, such as the 3M™ 6000 or 7500 Series or MSA half masks many dental teams wear during amalgam removal. It comes with 10 respirator inspection records.

OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134(h)(2) requires respirators to be stored so they are protected from damage, contamination, dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture and damaging chemicals. They must also be packed so the facepiece and exhalation valve don’t lose their shape. A dedicated, closed bag helps meet the storage requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134(h)(2) as part of your written respiratory protection program.

Before storing, clean, disinfect and air-dry the respirator according to the manufacturer’s instructions or OSHA Appendix B-2. Then lay it flat in the bag so the facepiece keeps its shape.
